MIGRANTA is an audiovisual documentary piece/project that presents, through experimentations in fashion, the living poetic practice of migrant artists in the city of Barcelona. The direct relationship of migration with the reconstruction of the European territory is the centrality of the piece.

MIGRANTA carries with it a direct analogy between construction and migration. The migration issue runs through both the artists’ collective and the workers that build the cities we live in, being them majorly migrants as well.

Using their clothes, through an upcycling process, we understand migration as steam, impossible to catch with hands, organic. It was the way the world was populated, a natural process.
